During Sunday’s NFL AFC championship game, Paramount + dropped the Alone Trailer of the TV series we’ve been waiting for!

At first glance, many of Halo’s familiar trappings are there. We’ll see Master Chief and Cortana, as well as familiar places like Covenant, Energy Sword, and a character that some eagle-eyed fans are convinced could be the Arbiter.

For better or for worse, the plot feels very simplistic. Indeed, Master Chief condenses it into a convenient slogan: “Find the halo, win the war.” But there will likely be deviations from history as we know it, with 343 previously commenting that this TV show will exist in its own separate timeline.

In the trailer, we have glimpses of things like other Spartans (no helmets, no less), the development of Cortana (which has a new look), and a disturbing statement about how easily the USNC can “control” the Master Chief. Overall, it looks like this will be a character-centric story that delves into what makes Boss and Cortana successful even as they race to save humanity.

The Alone The TV series will begin streaming on March 24 via Paramount +. He is portrayed by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and is produced by Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television.

So, does this trailer make you excited for this show? Be sure to sound out in the comments!
