WABetaInfo is here with another preview of what appears to be a future version of WhatsApp with extended privacy features. A future feature for WhatsApp on iOS will allow users to hide recent activity status and even online status from certain users or all.
The messaging app will allow you, for example, to hide your “Last seen status” from users outside your contact list. A separate option called “Same as last seen” applies the same logic to your online status.
The developer team is also working on an edit button for messages and reacts to messages in a chat. In fact, some of the features have already been implemented for public beta testers. However, we don’t know when these will be available to all users.
