The latest Y-series phone from vivo is now official with the announcement of the vivo Y100 in India. The phone offers a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The panel supports up to 1,300 nits peak brightness and covers the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The backs of the Pacific Blue and Twilight Gold vivo Y100 variants carry a color-changing Fluorite AG glass that allows it to change color when hit by UV light. The rear also houses a 64MP main camera with OIS, a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP depth module.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 system on a chip sits at the helm aided by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is also expandable via microSD slot. The phone launches Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and carries a 4,500mAh battery with 44W FashCharge. Other features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IP54 rating, and a hybrid Dual SIM slot.

vivo Y100 is available in Pacific Blue, Twilight Gold and Metal Black colors. The 8/128GB trim comes with an introductory price of INR 24,999 and can be ordered from vivo’s official website and partner online retailers.
