TCL held its big global flagship product launch event, during which we witnessed a multitude of announcements. We’ve already covered the TCL 40 NxtPaper phones in a, and now we’re turning our attention to the TCL Tab 10 Gen2 and Tab10L Android tablets, as well as the RayNeo X2 augmented reality (AR) glasses.
TCL Tab 10 Gen2 and Tab 10L Gen2
TCL Tab 10 Gen2 features a 10.36-inch IPS LCD with 1,200 x 2,000 px resolution and a Helio P22T chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64/128GB of storage that is also expandable via the microSD card slot. The Slate features a 7.4mm thin metal body and weighs just 425 grams. There is a 5MP front facing camera while the rear features an 8MP shooter and LED flash. The Tab 10 Gen2 supports stylus input and also packs two speakers
The Tab 10L Gen2 offers a 10.1-inch IPS LCD with 800 x 1,200 px resolution and a Mediatek MT8766B chipset with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, again expandable via the microSD slot. You also get a pair of 2MP cameras on the front and back as well as dual speakers and a headphone jack. The software side on both tablets is covered by Android 13 while the batteries reach 6,000 mAh and support 10W charging via USB-C. .
TCL Tab 10 Gen2 is priced at €169 while Tab 10L Gen2 is priced at €109. Both will soon be available in Europe.

RayNeo X2 AR glasses feature binocular color microLED optical waveguide displays with accuracy up to 1,000 nits. The glasses are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 platform.

TCL is marketing the RayNeo X2 as the ideal smart assistant device capable of real-time multilingual translation, navigation with interactive landmarks, as well as video calling and music playback via the built-in speakers. Stems also include a camera that can be used to capture images and videos. The glasses are equipped with a 590 mAh battery which guarantees an autonomy of up to 3 hours of continuous use.

TCL RayNeo X2 will launch first in China in the coming weeks, followed by a global release later this year.
