Samsung has quietly launched its latest members of the Galaxy A series with the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. Both new phones feature 6.7-inch LCD displays with HD+ resolution on the A05 and FHD+ on the A05. There is a 13MP front camera on the A05s hidden inside a waterdrop notch and an 8MP shooter on the A05.

The big difference lies in the chipset department, where the A05s is equipped with the Snapdragon 680 while the A05 is equipped with MediaTek’s Helio G85. Both phones come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that is expandable via microSD.

Both phones share the same 50MP (f/1.8) main camera along with a 2MP depth sensor, but the A05 also has a 2MP macro shooter. Both phones have 5,000 mAh batteries with support for 25W charging. Software side is covered by OneUI Core based on Android 13.
Samsung Galaxy A05 is available in black, light green and silver, while the e A05s model is also available in purple. Pricing and availability details haven’t been shared yet, but we should see more information in the coming days.
