After a not-so-secret announcement of its latest phone last month, Infinix “officially” announces its latest MediaTek Dimensity 1080-powered Infinix Zero 5G 2023. For $239, the Zero 5G 2023 comes with 256GB of storage paired with 8GB of RAM or up to 13GB when you extend it, reserving some of the storage space for this purpose. The device is powered by XOS12 based on Android 13.

As an upgrade, the Zero 5G 2023 has a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The user can switch between modes: 60Hz, 120Hz, and Auto Smart Switch Refresh Rate, which will (supposedly) switch between 60Hz and 120Hz between viewing and scrolling on the screen. It’s worth noting that there’s also a 240Hz tap sampling rate. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The phone will come in Pearly White, Coral Orange and Submarine Black. Infinix mentions a retail price of around $239, but also notes that the price “will vary by region.”
