We now have the detailed specs of the upcoming Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro and Edge 40, courtesy of a large leak.

The Motorola Edge 40 Pro will truly be a Moto X40 for the global market. That means a 6.7-inch 1080x2400px OLED with a maximum refresh rate of 165Hz and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The storage is 256GB of the fastest UFS 4.0 type.

Edge 40 Pro has a 4,600mAh battery with 125W TurboPower wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The phone offers a 50MP main camera with 1/1.5-inch sensor and a 50MP f/ 2.2 with macro functionality. There is also a 60MP selfie camera.

The Motorola Edge 40 has a 6.55-inch 1080x2400px pOLED with a 144Hz refresh rate. The phone will premiere a new MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset. There are 8GB of LPPDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Moto Edge 40 will have the same 50MP main camera as the Pro, but the rest of the setup isn’t as impressive: There’s a 13MP ultrawide shooter on the back, and there’s a 32MP front-facing camera. The Moto Edge 40 will have a 4,400mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

Both phones are IP68 waterproof and dustproof.

The Moto Edge 40 has two finishes: Vegan Leather and PMMA Acrylic, and will be available in four colors: Nebula Green, Lunar Blue, Eclipse Black and Viva Magenta. The Moto Edge 40 Pro has an aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus on both sides, color-wise, it will come in Quartz Black and Angel Falls.
