Apple’s Vision Pro will finally go on sale. Starting in the US, the headphones will be available for pre-order on Friday, January 19th via Apple’s online store and will begin shipping on Friday, February 2nd.
Starting February 2, Vision Pro will be available in all US Apple Stores. It appears that Apple will only sell the 256GB model initially, but the company has hinted that there will be other models as well. Apple’s press release says pricing starts at $3,499 with 256GB of storage.
The Vision Pro comes with a Solo Knit strap and a Dual Loop strap, and in the box are a Light Seal and two different Light Seal pads, as well as a polishing cloth, a battery, a USB-C cable and a USB- C. adapter.
Apple also detailed lens attachments for vision correction. ZEISS optical inserts will be available in prescription form or as readers that attach magnetically to the Vision Pro. Readers will cost $99, while prescriptions will cost $149.
Apple will eventually expand the Vision Pro’s availability to other countries, but for now it’s just the US.
