Playdead, the developer behind the hit indie games Limbo and Inside, has revealed that he is working on a third-person sci-fi adventure game as his next project. The information comes from the Jobs page on his website, which states that the game will be “set in a remote corner of the universe”.

Unfortunately, the announcement didn’t provide much else in the way of details. Playdead hasn’t announced a name for the game, what platforms it will be available on or when it will launch.

The developer currently has 12 positions available on his site for which he is hiring. Considering Playdead is still building its team for the project, its release date may still be a long way off. However, the job postings have revealed some images from the game, which you can view below.

Whatever this new game ends up being, it will be published by Epic Games. This suggests that the title will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store, at least on PC.
