There was quite a storm brewing this week, as a number of high-profile launches were expected, but then they were all postponed, meaning it remained relatively calm on our trend chart as well.

The Oppo Reno9 Pro+ didn’t stay at the top for long – interest quickly waned after the announcement. This means that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is the new old champ, followed by its mid-range sibling the Galaxy A53.

Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro Max completes the podium, while Realme’s 10 Pro+ climbed two more spots this week to take fourth place.

We therefore find Apple iPhone XR in fifth place, ahead of the former leader Redmi Note 12 Pro +. Xiaomi’s mid-range reigned supreme for a month, but is now rapidly moving down the charts.

In seventh place is the iQOO 11 Pro: it would certainly have been higher if the expected announcement had taken place, but perhaps it will be better next week. The long-discontinued iPhone X is making a comeback and is now eight years old — the popularity of that never seems to fade.

Redmi Note 11 returns to the charts in week 48 to take ninth place, together with the Galaxy S22, which occupies the last place.

I’ll see you next week!
