The end of the year is just around the corner, and as has become a tradition, we review all the reviews of the last twelve months and take a look at the ones you found most interesting. Without further ado, we kick off the first quarter of the year 2022.
At the beginning of 2022, Samsung made a big splash with the announcement of its budget flagship – the Galaxy S21 FE 5G. So much so that the phone review almost made it to the top of the popularity list. We can definitely see why. With a reasonable price and really capable hardware, the S21 FE offers great performance and is very close to flagship territory.
Then Samsung’s Unpacked event took place in early February and gave us the Galaxy S22 and Tab S8 families of devices. Of course, we were all over the place, and it’s clear you shared our interest and enthusiasm. Literally, the entire S22 trio finished in the top 10 in Q1 and with good reason. It’s hard to go wrong with Samsung’s flagship line.
And staying on the subject of successful product lines, we cannot fail to mention the Redmi Note 11 family. Three devices made their way into our Q1 top 10 list. Next to these, we find the Poco X4 Pro 5G. An incredible value offering that is still very current. It offers things like a 120Hz OLED panel and a powerful camera setup for a very reasonable price.
At the other end of the spectrum in the Xiaomi camp is the 12 Pro. A device that actually came out at the end of December 2021, but we technically consider it a Q1 2022 phone. it has since been somewhat overshadowed by its successors, but is still holding up very well at the end of the year.
The same can be said of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which stole some of its spotlight. It remains the flagship of OnePlus with all the bells and whistles that go with it.
