Last month OnePlus eliminated the Nord 2T, the first smartphone to sport MediaTek’s Dimensity 1300 SoC. The mid-ranger is a very light update of the North 2 and a new entry today tells us it is expected to launch in India by the end of this month.

Presumably it will be an Amazon exclusive and is expected to be priced below INR 30,000 and “probably” even cheaper than the Nord 2 when it launched. This means it will be cheaper in India than in Europe, where it costs € 399, which currently translates to INR 32,963.

The OnePlus Nord 2T will reportedly launch in India this month

The Indian version is said to be identical to the global one. Compared to the Nord 2, the Nord 2T comes with the aforementioned Dimensity 1300 chipset (compared to Dimensity 1200) and also has faster charging of 80W (compared to 65W), as well as a rather odd camera island design . It is offered in two color versions: Gray Shadow and Jade Fog. Hopefully both will arrive in India.

The OnePlus Nord 2T has a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED screen, a triple rear camera system (50MP main, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP depth sensor), a 32MP selfie snapper, 8 / 12GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of non-expandable memory and a 4,500 mAh battery. Works with Android 12 with OxygenOS 12.1 on top.
