We’ve seen a lot of rumors about the Galaxy Z Flip5 so far, but now we get our first look at the new clamshell flip cover screen. Noted informant Ice universe shared a new image of the Galaxy Z Flip5 showing off its design and our first look at its folder-shaped cover screen.

Past rumors suggest that the Z Flip5’s cover screen will measure around 3.3-3.4 inches, a significant step up from the Z Flip4’s 1.9-inch panel. Note the odd folder-shaped cutout at the bottom that surrounds the dual cameras. The tipster says these images are indicative of the final design and that Samsung is currently working on adapting its software to take advantage of the larger screen area.

Based on the latest report, Samsung is set to announce the Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 in late July alongside the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
