Samsung has been rolling out Android 13 updates left and right over the past few weeks at a seemingly unstoppable pace, and now we’re getting to a point where multiple new phone models get new software on the same day.
Case in point: Today, the update to Android 13-based One UI 5 began rolling out to two phones that haven’t had the pleasure of tasting it thus far. We are talking about the Galaxy A71 (4G) and the Galaxy F62.
Galaxy A71
The first is seeing the update roll out in Poland so far, but as always it should expand to other countries and territories (at least in Europe) very soon if no major obvious issues are encountered. The new build number is A715FXXU8DVK1, and the update comes with the October 2022 security patch level. It’s obviously not current, but it is.
In India, the Galaxy F62 is getting the E625FDDU2CVK2 build, and this has the November 2022 security patch level still current. As the F62 is a Flipkart exclusive device for India only, this launch will not roll out to any other country or territory.
Whether you’re in Poland (or Europe more generally) and own a Galaxy A71, or in India and own a Galaxy F62, if you’re impatient you can do things the same way: go to Settings > Software Update and tap Download and install. Maybe you’re in luck and a gift the size of the One UI 5 awaits you. nature.
