Samsung announced its self-repair program in partnership with iFixit last year, starting in the US in August with support for seven devices: the Galaxy S20 and S21 flagships (minus the FE models) and the Galaxy Tab S7+. Today, the company adds five new devices to the program.

The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra are now covered, owners can get replacement display assemblies, back panels and charging ports for them. The S22 is about to turn 1 year and its US warranty is about to expire (unless you bought extra protection with Samsung Care+).

A quick look at the prices shows that the charging port costs $67, as does the rear glass panel. Please note that the package includes not only the replacement part, but also all the tools you will need.

The displays vary in price: a new Galaxy S22 display is $167, the S22+ is $190, the S22 Ultra display is $240.

In addition to smartphones, Samsung has added two laptops to its self-repair program: the Galaxy Book Pro 15″ and the Galaxy Book Pro 360 15″. There are seven components: case front, case back, display, battery, touchpad, power key with fingerprint reader, and rubber foot.
