OnePlus released the beta version of its OxygenOS 12 software for the original OnePlus Nord not long ago. It seems that the initial version has had some success as the company is already proceeding with the distribution of the stable OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12.

It is important to note, however, that the OTA update is only available for Indian users, with the European version of the firmware still being validated.

In any case, users outside of India will likely not wait much longer for the update which weighs in at 4GB and also includes the April 2022 security patch.

OnePlus shared the news via its community forum and also highlighted some of the known issues that a future software update will aim to iron out.

Known Issues:

  • The display of some pages in Settings will be different from the system.
  • The screen will fail in specific scenarios during the call.
  • The camera may freeze when taking photos in Portrait mode.
  • Abnormal thumbnail display when taking burst photos.
  • The abnormal display of the quick connection of the device in Guest mode.
