Last week iQOO announced an India-exclusive Z7, followed yesterday by the Z7 for China, which is a completely different device. However, it seems that the vivo sub-brand is now working on bringing the Chinese Z7 to India and other countries outside of China, just under the Z7 Pro moniker, rather confusingly.

This device was spotted in Geekbench’s online database and is powered by the same Snapdragon 782G SoC as the Chinese Z7. The prototype that ran the benchmark had Android 13 installed, of course, and 12GB of RAM on board, although we assume other memory options will also be available when the phone launches.

It achieved a single-core score of 873 and a multi-core score of 2,928, though this being a prototype you probably shouldn’t pay too much attention to the scores.

If the international Z7 Pro turns out to be nothing more than a rebranded Chinese Z7, then expect it to ship with a 6.64-inch 1080×2388 120Hz IPS LCD touchscreen, a 64MP main camera with OIS with a 2MP alongside, a 16MP selfie snapper, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging.
