Well, there are a lot of heroes in the AFK arena and you don’t have to focus on all the heroes you get through the summoning feature. This feature is unlocked after completing a certain number of stages in campaign mode. As you progress through the campaign battles, things will get worse and you will need powerful heroes to get through the tough phase. So it’s important to focus on the best heroes right from the start. Now, what are the heroes that can get you through these stages? The next thing you need to know are the stats, abilities and their role of the heroes. You can understand the role of the hero by reading his skills, his statistics. Go to the heroes -> tap the hero to read it -> skills -> tap the skill.

DPS Units – These units are capable of dealing high damage to enemies in battle
Tank – These units are capable of absorbing as much damage as possible as their HP and defense stats are very good
Healers – Units with healing abilities

⇒ Now, the first two frontline heroes should have a tank role; the units with the best HP / Defense and Defensive / Shield skills. These guys are the first to get the attack. The protection shield, high HP, defense and agility stats increase survival. And both of these units give a shield to the backline characters.

⇒ In the backline, where you can field three heroes; you should go with a healer or two DPS. You can also try the buffer and DPS combination. But the healer is a must. The boys on the front line protect the heroes from the rear. And the heroes of the rear do their job; deal damage to enemies, heal front row units, potential (depends on team combination).

), and gold coins. In battle, selected squad members automatically attack enemies. And, as mentioned before, you have control over their abilities. At the bottom of the hero icon, you can check HP (the green bar) and Rage (the orange). As the battle progresses, the anger will increase and at the maximum point of the bar you will be able to unleash the hero’s abilities.

The Idle Battle – In the campaign mode screen, heroes fight enemies over time. You can claim the rewards from this inactive battle; tap the gold chest to claim tons of valuable rewards like gold coins, EXP, player EXP, gears, and more.

AFK Arena Guide to Upgrade Heroes⇓

First, find out the hero stats: –

Health: the total health of a hero. Once 0 is reached, the hero will be eliminated from the battlefield
Attack – The damage a hero deals
Defense – The amount of damage a hero can reduce
Life-Leech – Determines how much Life you recover when attacking an enemy
Physical Resistance – The amount of physical damage a hero reduces
Magic Resist – The amount of magical damage a hero reduces
Cooldown – The amount of HP a hero naturally recovers
Speed - Movement
Dodging: dodging enemy attacks
Accuracy – Chance to hit a target

To overcome the difficult stages, you will have to increase the stats of the heroes in AFK Arena. And there are many ways to do it: –

1.) Level up – Spend gold coins, EXP to raise heroes. At certain levels, new skills will be unlocked and the hero will shine in combat

2.) Equip your equipment – Equip the equipment, upgrade it to increase stats.

3.) Climb the heros – Go to the castle -> tap the ascension temple building -> here you can climb the heroes. Tap the hero you want to pick up -> then tap the next slot and read the hero requirement. Usually, you have to use duplicate heroes in this process.

Reset and retire heroes in AFK Arena⇓

1.) Build and develop the best team

This part will cover all the tips mentioned in the guide above. The first ever is to build the best team of heroes. Read this list of levels and discover the best characters you have owned. After that, focus on increasing their power through various ways like leveling up, going up, etc. Use all those diamonds in summoning and try your luck. If you have developed useless or low-level characters, you can restore / withdraw them and recover all your investment.

The next thing is to add all kinds of heroes; tanks, DPS, healers / buffers. Put the tanks in the front line and the others in the last row.

2.) Play all game modes

In addition to the campaign mode, you can earn valuable rewards in other game modes as well. Make sure you play all kinds of game modes every day; guild battles, cutting board, arcane labyrinth, king’s tower and more. You can earn gears, hero essence, EXP, in-game items, diamonds, and more.

3.) Complete the missions

Go to the campaign mode screen and tap the missions button in the top right corner -> complete the daily tasks to get rewards like diamonds, scrolls, soul stones and more. Weekly missions are also worth completing. So don’t miss any missions and get all the rewards.

4.) Join a guild

Join an active guild and participate in team hunting battles. You can earn guild coins, gears, diamonds and many other rewards from it. Spend those Guild Coins in the Guild Shop on other valuable items.

5.) Request the free daily gift

Tap the gift set option in the upper left corner of the game screen -> gift set -> request free diamonds and soul stones every day. Once you have enough soul stones, you can combine them and summon a hero. You can combine it in the bag menu.
