Over thighs of chicken, the recipe for a simple but tasty ground dish

  • Sage: 8 leaves

  • Potatoes: 750 g

Preparation

Take the cleaned chicken thighs and cut them with the help of a small knife.

Insert the previously washed sage leaves inside the hollow.

Line a baking tray with a sheet of parchment paper and brush it with extra virgin olive oil.

Place the chicken on top of it. Grease it with oil and sprinkle it with a teaspoon of sage powder, a little salt and black pepper.

In the meantime, peel the potatoes with a potato peeler and remove any ugly and bruised parts with a knife.

Rinse them under running water and pat them with a clean cloth until completely dry.

Cut the potatoes into cubes of about 2 cm each with a knife.

Place the diced potatoes in the pan together with the thighs; then add the rosemary needles and complete with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

Place the pan in a convection oven and bake at 180 degrees for 50 minutes.

Halfway through cooking, turn the chicken over with tongs and mix the potatoes with a spoon. Finally, turn the thighs over again 10 minutes from the end to give them the classic gilding before serving.
